Tendering for the first Passivhaus building in the State has begun

On November 4, the tender for the comprehensive renovation of the building at Calle Doctores Castroviejo 9, in Logroño, La Rioja, was published on the State procurement platform.

This project, promoted by the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, involves the comprehensive renovation of the former headquarters of the National Police to convert it into an administrative building for different ministerial delegations, financed through savings on the rent of the premises where they are currently located. Its design has taken into account criteria of sustainability, comfort, high quality of interior environments and energy efficiency, being the first work in the State that will comply with the Passivhaus standard and the BREEAM environmental certificate with an excellent rating.
