The Villamediana Library Book Cover

The image of the Villamediana de Iregua Library has been chosen as the cover of the book “Passive House in different climates, a path to net zero” written by Americans Mary James, editor of Low Carbon Productions, and James Bill, architect and president of ZIA (Zero Impact Architecture).

This book contains a total of 17 examples of buildings built under the Passive House standard in different climate zones, demonstrating that this standard is suitable for all climates on earth. Among the selected buildings is The Municipal Library of Villamediana de Iregua as the first public building built in Spain under the Passivhaus standard.

This book is already available in digital format and is expected to go on sale in paperback next June.
